1. Introduction

Inquilab Studios Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") built Mughals and Rajputs as a free-to-play mobile game available on Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple App Store). This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you play the game, how it is used, and what your rights are.

This policy is issued in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act 2000, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union.

The game does not require you to create an account. Most data collected is done automatically by third-party services integrated into the game. Here is a summary of all data collected:

3. How We Use Your Data

Referral System

When you launch the game, you are anonymously authenticated with a random user ID via Google Cloud Services — no name, email, or Google account is used. This anonymous ID is used solely to manage the referral system: tracking referral codes, recording completed referrals, and unlocking the Sikh faction reward when the required number of friends have joined through your link.

Advertising

The game is free to play and supported by ads served through LevelPlay (IronSource) ad mediation platform. Ad networks used include IronSource Ads, Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, InMobi, Unity Ads, and AppLovin. These services collect device identifiers and app interaction data to serve relevant ads and prevent ad fraud. On iOS, you will be asked for permission to track your device for personalised ads via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt — you may decline and still use the game fully. If you purchase Remove All Ads, no more banner or interstitial ads will be shown, though rewarded ads (which you choose to watch voluntarily) may remain available.

In-App Purchases

All payments are processed entirely by Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). We receive only a purchase confirmation to apply your unlock (e.g. Sikh faction, resource packs, ad removal). We do not have access to your payment card details. Purchase history is processed on-device and not stored on our servers.

Bug Reporter

The in-game bug reporter is entirely optional. If you choose to submit a report, your name and email are used only to allow us to follow up with you about the issue. Bug reports are stored in our private support system and are not shared with any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

Google Cloud Services

We use cloud backend services operated by Google LLC for the referral system. Data is stored on Google servers, primarily in the United States. Google's privacy practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

LevelPlay Ad Networks

The game uses LevelPlay (operated by IronSource Ltd.) as an ad mediation platform, which coordinates ads from the following networks: IronSource Ads, Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, InMobi, Unity Ads, and AppLovin. Google Play Billing & Apple App Store

All in-app purchases are processed by Google Play (Android) or Apple's StoreKit/App Store (iOS). We do not collect or store your payment information. Google's practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Apple's practices are governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. The only sharing that occurs is:

• LevelPlay (IronSource) and ad network partners — shares device identifiers and app interaction data with ad network partners for the purpose of serving ads and fraud prevention. This is done automatically by the LevelPlay advertising SDK.
• Google Cloud Services — your anonymous user ID and referral data are stored on Google's cloud servers.
• Bug reports — your name, email, and bug description are stored on our private support server and are not shared with any third party.

6. Children's Privacy

Mughals and Rajputs is a historical strategy game rated for players aged 12 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. The anonymous user ID used for the referral system does not contain any personally identifying information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted a bug report containing their personal information, please contact us at privacy@inquilabstudios.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data Storage and Security

• Your in-game preferences, purchase states, and faction unlocks are stored only on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
• Referral data stored on Google Cloud servers is tied to an anonymous user ID only — it cannot be linked back to your real identity without additional information.
• Bug reports submitted through the in-game reporter are transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely on our private server.
• We implement reasonable security measures to protect data stored on our systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

• Access — request a summary of personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw Consent — withdraw consent for data processing at any time
• Grievance Redressal — have complaints addressed by our Grievance Officer

For advertising data, you can opt out of personalised ads by resetting your device's advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads), or on iOS by going to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disabling tracking for this app.

10. GDPR — EU Users

If you are located in the European Union, our legal bases for processing are:

• Legitimate interest — anonymous referral tracking via Google Cloud Services to support the reward system
• Consent — bug report submissions (you choose to submit) and ad tracking on iOS (you choose via ATT prompt)
• Contract performance — processing IAP purchase confirmations to deliver purchased content

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local EU data protection supervisory authority. You also have the right to data portability for data processed on the basis of consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy when new features are added to the game (such as leaderboards or social features) or when required by law. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
